Carbon Collectors Refrigerant Recovery recently established to ensure that everyone around Australia has access to the range of Refrigerant Recovery Services offered by the Carbon Collectors Refrigerant Recovery Network. Our mission is to educate consumers about the advantages of refrigerant recovery for our environment and enable them to do their bit when it comes to disposing of their End-of-Life Equipment.

For too long now we have all been guilty of polluting our Planet with these damaging Ozone Depleting and Synthetic Greenhouse Gases, simply by consuming and disposing of our end-of-life refrigerated equipment with no real thought or care as to where it all ends up, an out of sight out of mind attitude which has ultimately contributed to the Global Warming effects on Our Planet since the beginning of the Modern Industrial Era.

Carbon Collectors aim is to establish a Licensee Network Australia wide, working under licence to the Carbon Collectors Refrigerant Recovery Business Model. All Network District Licensees would have exclusive and generous spread of population and could include, but not limited to; Local Area Government/Council Waste Management sites, Scrap Metal Recyclers, Automotive Dismantlers, Government Departments, HVAC/R Industry, Insurance, Building and Demolition, in fact all types of Industries…the opportunities to recover refrigerants right now and into the future are endless!

Carbon Collectors Refrigerant Recovery Network District Licensees will undertake full training and assessment in safe and effective refrigerant recovery procedures on all types of equipment. Upon completion of the training and assessment they will be eligible to apply for a Restricted Refrigerant Recoverers Licence, issued by the Australian Refrigeration Council. (www.arctick.org)

Carbon Collectors Refrigerant Recovery Network Licensees also receive as part of their package, all the necessary refrigerant recovery equipment to get started, uniforms, vehicle signage, android tablet, marketing and advertising collateral and access to Carbon Collectors customers through our extensive advertising, marketing and user friendly, informative website, with the entire business being virtually paperless and cashless, ie no invoicing and no chasing money.

Establishment of each Network District Licensee will be upon Expression of Interest, with all training and assessment carried out on-site within the nominated District while it is being established. It is envisioned that some contracts would be established with preferred suppliers within each District prior to purchasing a Network District Licence Agreement in the proposed District, ensuring positive cash flow into the new business.

Carbon Collectors Refrigerant Recovery Network Licensees would need to provide their own suitable vehicle ie late model Utility or 4WD and caged trailer or a light truck with crane or tailgate loader, to enable them to safely lift and transport refrigerators, airconditioners, recovery cylinders, tools and equipment, plus a petrol power generator for works carried out on-site.

Although  the majority of end-of-life equipment will be accessed through Local Council Waste Transfer Stations, a small commercial site may be required to transport the domestic refrigerators to for processing and recycling.  It is envisioned that each Licensee could be collecting and processing anywhere from 30 – 300 fridges per week, plus A/C systems and other refrigerated appliances, which would yield a decent scrap metal value in the market.

Refrigerant Recovery, as an exclusive business on this scale, has no rival. When it comes to refrigerant recovery, Carbon Collectors will be the name on everyone’s lips, with “Every Little Bit Counts” being the theme of the business and the theme song that everyone will be singing and tapping away to after hearing our advertising on TV, Radio and educating themselves on the www.carboncollectors.com.au website.
